Hi, need some help! I came off the pill (microgynon) a couple of weeks before christmas day because it was making me ill, i suffered bad abdominal pains and weird thick discharge. I had a period on christmas day, (typical i know) and it lasted about a week, I have since had 4 periods in between the 25th dec and 25t jan, usually lasting 5 days,
its like im on a constant period and its really getting me down, im pretty sure it is the pill but could do with some advice. thanks, emma.

the so called constant period is your body flushing out all the blood to make room in your uterus. i would reccomend talking to your doctor about taking Marvelon, it's what i use. the microgynon made me sick too.
the lining is falling out because you've stopped taking the pill. it is possible that the micrgynon had some effect, are you taking any anti biotics or other medicines? sometimes that can effect the uterus and it's natural ways.

i came off the pill last easter as my hubby had the snip...everything was ok till jan...i started my period 6th jan and i am still bleeding(lightly) and i am due for this months period...any suggestions please
