This situation is very new for me and I am not sure about who to talk to. I was hoping someone here can help me. I need to know how dry eye patients can wear contacts. Is there any hope for me? I‘ve heard opposite opinions on this.

Well, good news are that great improvements have been made in contact lens materials. In the past, many dry eye patients could not tolerate contacts, but now they can be fit with numerous new types of contacts. Most of the dry eye patients can tolerate contact lenses now for at least eight hours per day. Patients formerly dependent on eyeglasses can now enjoy a newfound freedom from their glasses.
