Hi, I would like to get some information. I am a truck driver. I am working to feed my wife and two little kids. I have problem with chronic arthritic pain in my right elbow. It is very hard to do my job when I am in pains and when I cant move my elbow. I am taking some shots called Cortisone but, although it has helped me at the beginning, now it starts to cause even more pain. Doctor says that Cortisone is crystallized. Is that possible?
You better believe that it can happen. It is one of the side effects of this medicine. It is an introduction of infection into the joint. Also there is one other thing. I have been suffering from similar problem but in my leg. First injection was a true miracle. Second did wonders. Third was fine. But with each shot the relief was shorter and shorter. I believe that it is not a long time solution.
