Hello, guys. My wife would like to start using alfalfa in order to improve her appetite. However, she is afraid this herb could provoke an allergic reaction. I wonder whether this is possible. She has tendency to various allergies. I would appreciate all your replies. Thanks for all your efforts in answering my post.
Hello. Alfalfa is used for many reasons. It is great as diet supplements, especially for increasing the appetite. It is also helpful with diabetes and arthritis. In animals, it can even lower cholesterol blood levels. Some allergic reactions have been reported. There are cases where eating alfalfa provoked Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). You should check details with your pharmacist or herbalist. I hope everything will be all right. I hope I’ve helped. Bye!
