how to take a cyst bath

Loading...

You didn’t say what kind of cyst you have and what stage it is in. The procedure is the same but if your cyst is infected, you may need to take antibiotics or have it evaluated by a professional.
These baths are called sitz baths and may be used for cysts like Bartholin’s or Pilondial as well as hemorrhoids. In order to have a sitz bath, you need to fill a few inches of warm water of a tub and sit in it for some time, 20-25 mins or so for a few days.

This works only for cysts that are small and uninfected, so that they could open up and drain on its own. If they got infected and developed abscesses, then you should have them checked by a doc.
