Hi, I need some advice regarding my son’s problem. He is 24 years old and has been battling with extra weight for couple of years now. But it looks like he is having some additional issues now. I know that he vomits from time to time and I have noticed that his teeth plaque is damaged. I am thinking of bulimia, should I be concerned? What can I do?

You should ask him about the vomiting and why that happened. Damaged plaque might occur because of the acid that enters the mouth during vomiting. And you said that he is worrying about his weight, these are all signs that might point to bulimia. You should try to persuade him to go for the consultation with the doctor. A specialist should easily determine if he is having any bulimic problem or not.
