hi
we bought some lithium orotate only $12 for a bottle of 200. I am assisting my husband through his mary-jane detox, he also suffers from acute bi-polar. This seems to be much better than the lithium carbonate and horrible effexor, I hope to get some 5htp which should also help.

Hi, thanks for this post. I am only on day 3 of quitting, and know the worse is yet to come in withdrawal symptoms. I quit because the Holy Spirit laid it on my heart to quit. When I go to church or bible study, I felt unworthy and when I read scripture I felt major guilt. Finally, I came to a crossroads in my spiritual journey and I have to leave this behind. I know the physical withdrawals will suck, especially the nightmares (quit once before), but the hardest part is the missing of the love of the high....the pleasure. I used it for everything...it energized me. I would use it to do housework, or watch tv or go to movies, anything that didn't require my mind. But I won't miss the pipe, or inhaling smoke or vapor. I won't miss smoking so much the high seems to only last 30 minutes or so. I won't miss hiding it or living a double life. In fact, I feel freedom. I don't want to be a slave to this anymore. Thank you for your tips. Peace be with you all.

Of course vaporizer is a healthier option. When you smoke, you are inhaling 400+ chemicals along with thc. If you "have" to get high, vaporizing is a better option than smoking. It is not a gimmick. Do some research first before you make such a ridiculous comment. See how nasty and black the bong is? All that resin is going into your lungs when you smoke. Look at a bag or a bong that is used with a vaporizer. Do you see all that black resin? No. I'm not promoting getting high here. I'm trying very hard myself to quit too. But calling vaporizers a gimmick is truly ignorant.

Reading through thread & other threads on this site has just changed my life. From the bottom of my heart, I Thank You all for posting. Went cold turkey precisely one week ago after 8 years of frequent use & am experiencing similar issues- insomnia, nightmares, anxiety, loss of appetite, stomach pains, in addition to isolation, self-hatred, thoughts of suicide, & the feeling that no one could possibly relate. Was 5 minutes away from driving to the local dispensary. Wasn't sure I could go on much longer feeling this way. Took a moment to google in my car, just before leaving the house & came across this thread. Reading your experiences have given me a newfound hope that it is possible to not only quit, but that it is possible to feel better after doing so. I'm sick of this Jekyll and Hyde lifestyle and it would be the greatest gift to feel natural happiness, love, and sleep without the overpowering haze. I know it would be a blessing to my friends and family but have been afraid to fess up about having a problem in the first place. Working towards it now, and would appreciate advice on what I could possibly do to stabilize my patience and mood swings in the meantime. Thanks again.

Hi everyone. I had been smoking weed for 18 years. My mom boyfriend (at that time) gave it to me when I was twelve, and yes I'm 30. I just quit cold turkey. As I sit here & type I am experiencing severe anxiety, loss of appetite, severe rage & anger/ outburst, stomach pains, loss of motivation/ concentration. I was able to function on marijuana but, I know it was a bad habit, I tried to make like I was partying all the time. But, in actuality I was self-medicating to avoid dealing with my problems head on. I had to go to my mom house to get away from ALL my friends bc they smoke pot/ "loud" too. I can make it threw but this is going to be one of the hardest things I ever had to do in my life. Please pray for my healing. Thanks

Sorry I'm just picking this up now - I hope you have got things sorted. Willpower, meditation, exercise, hydration, good food, support, space - but out of all of those I would say meditation is what has helped me most with coming off 25 years of daily usage. Good luck.

Hi - I hope things are going ok for you and you're doing well. I can relate to everything you say - having been smoking daily now for 25 years. Have you tried meditation - it really works - no need to get all religious with it (although you can if you want!) but that is really helping me at the moment. Combine that with exercise and willpower and you'll be just fine. Serva Fidem.
