I have been smoking marijuana regularly (all day), since last 6 month. first i didnt see any harm in it, but soon it was limiting my productivity to a point where i was smoking just to ignore the feeling of losing control over my life. During a brief moment of clarity, i decided to stop smoking for a month. and i tried quit several times without any success. but 2 days ago i decided really go for it and get back control over my actions. and this is my third day without a smoke. for last two days i had 5 confrontation with few of the closest people to me. after when i had some time to reflect on my action, i couldn't find any valid reason for the argument, for example 1 of the argument was over a glass of water. from my research what i have found is basically, when you smoke cannabis, it produces canaboid in your body which gives you the high feeling. and if you do it regularly over a long enough period of time, your body adapts to the higher amount of canaboid produced in your body, which we call higher tolerance. but when you stop smoking, your body needs time to adapt back to normal state. And that is when all the withdrawal symptoms starts to show up (still cannabis withdrawal is very mild compare to other drugs). so yes cannabis withdrawal is very real. today morning i woke up with a lot of energy and zero urges to smoke. but still you need to give yourself 2 weeks to eliminate a habit. And you also need to find activities that interests you to replace the time you use to spend high. And most of all give your boyfriend time, and im sure he realises his fault, and he will come around.

You are very wrong and very condescending and arrogant. It does the same thing to me and many people I know. Depending on how much you smoke the more you smoke the worse you feel when you come off...
