Not alot of solutions here. But I am experiencing the same sort of issues.I am 37 years old and in good shape. I have not exercised with weights in almost 2 months.About 3 weeks ago I sat up from my desk and experienced a sharp pain that rose from my left pelvic up my left side.Ever since I have experienced little sharp pains(more discomfort than pain) and bloating in my lower section. The bloating has subsided but I am still getting discomfort in the abdomin.I also had some minor testicle pain. As well as some minor lower back pain on both sides. Its hard to think that a muscle pull would do all that but thats where I am. I took my concern to the doctor since it is not a pain I have witnessed before.I have had 2 visits. Both times he asked me if colon cancer ran in our family. It does not.I was sent for blood tests on every organ surrounding that area as well as prostate and pancreas. I have yet to get the results back from those. I am just hoping the white cell count is low in all areas.I have a scheduled lower barium on Sep 19th. It is tough waiting around to see what the verdict is. Especially with 2 young kids. But I am hoping for a muscle pull or pollups of the colon. Something that is easy.
And I know this can be concerning to alot of people so I will make sure I give updates to my condition so I can hopefully put your minds at ease.

i had a bad spill on my bike 9 months ago and ever since i have been having similar issues to most people on here. currently i have lower left abdominal pain and left testicular pain. at first i figured it was bruised ribs from my fall, i fell on my left side. given the amount of time its been since the accident i think something else might have been damaged in the fall. maybe a tear or something. i am a healthy person, don't smoke, drink 3 times a week on average and am vegan.
i have had a cat scan and xrays a month after the accident and nothing showed up. i told them i had soreness in my lower left abdominal but they couldn't diagnose it.
please be sure to post those results skeffy.

I also have the lower left ab pain three inches to the left and one inch down from the navel. I have a bloated feeling in the lower abdomen that gets worse after a meal that feels like a very upset stomach. I also get cramps in the area when getting up after being in a seated or lying position for a prolonged period of time and have walk it out. I am a 43 year old powerlifter and have lifted heavy weights since my early twenties. I think I did this injury before on a lesser scale in my late twenties while doing heavy leg presses, but I didn't have the bloat, cramp symptoms and it took a little over a month to feel better. I have no pain in the groin that some here have described. I only have had this for three days after a heavy workout session doing seated military presses. I felt fine after the workout and went home. I ate a massive lunch and took a nap. I woke up with the weird bloating and pain. I usually will not go to the doctor unless it is a dire emergency since I have had very little luck in the past with any of them really giving a sh#t about any of my afflictions. I usually will wait a month or so to see if it work itself out and see if the symptoms gradually subside. I will monitor this thread with interest and wish everyone here a speedy recovery.

Hi
I have been getting these pains for about 3 years. As i had bad varicocele I had surgery which is Varicocele Embrolization WHich is where they block the renal vein with metal coils.
Although this releieved the pain after surgery and I no longer have enlarged veins in the testies I am still getting a dull ache.
I only get this when sitting or driving.. when walking or lying i am doing fine. I am waiting to see if it will die down since i had the surgery a month ago the doctor seems to think i should not be in pain.
I can only think its either lack of blood to one of the testies or fluid around the testie. I am going to visit the doctor again and see what he comes up with.. although i am not holding my breath.

Hi again. Since my last post, I have learned that I have pollups(?)of the bowels. I am pretty sure this is the issue. I have taken the doctors advise of staying away from seeds, nuts and beer.(well not totally the beer........but I did stop for the most part)Bowel pollups run in my family.Consider it like a sore that come and goes on your bowels. There is no threatening issues other than discomfort from time to time. My mother and sister have them. What I was not aware of was the positioning of your bowels. They come down from both sides and across under the navel. I was getting a nagging pain on the left and on the right under the navel. Makes sense. The testicle pain is gone. Maybe it was coincidental. The bloating is also gone. I am getting a lower GI on October 10th. I will confirm my findings at that time.

I have had the same symptoms off and on for years since my late teens, I am now 49 and still experience them. I'll tell you what you have. I was diagnosed with IBS initially and it eventually continued to get worse. They ended up scoping me and they found ulcers in my digestive tract (small intestins). Which lead to the diagnosis of Crohns disease. It is treatable w/ prednisone for me and eventually the symptoms will go away. The disease itself will never leave though. You will get bouts of remishion and activity. No one knows how a person develops this although it does have genetic components. If a family member is experiencing similar symptoms, then my guess it's Crohns. It could also be Colitis which is generally the same disease but affects a different part of the digestive tract. If you chronically get these symptoms and especially start seeing blood in your stool, you need to see a doctor and demand a scope. This is the only way you will get proper treatment. Other symptoms may include being lethargic (tired a lot), loss of appetite, weight loss, pain in joints, dehydration. Pain in the abdomen in early morning, an hour or so after eating and diahrea shortly after the pain. I find I need to know where the bathroom is in any building I'm in.

Has anyone experienced any relief?

I have read this forum continually while trying to figure out my problem.
I finally went to the doctor and after urine and blood tests to rule out tract infections , an ultrasound to rule out kidney or stomach disorders he went on to the 4th hour of analysis. An ultrasound up the bum and examining the prostate revealed a bacterial infection of the prostate causing PROSTATITUS!!
Discomfort in LEFT side of lower abdomen, as well as lower to mid left back. Also radiates down the left butt cheek and under the body into the scrotum and left testicle. Google it and refer to the MAYO Clinic website. It was bang on what I was feeling.
Thought it was a sports hernia from exercise. maybe some major organ dysfunction. NO it's def PROSTATITUS . Very common in young men, Im 27 and very healthy. However the bacteria can be caught while the body is run down and is common with what doc calls an "irregular lifestyle" incl. drinking not eating right and lack of sleep.
It's so annoying because you wonder what the hell could be causing this discomfort in your back, abdomen and testical. I really hope this helps many of you since noone on this board seems to have a doctor who knows what he/she is doing.
Best part is that it's nothing big. Antibacterial pills for a month and give the body some good tlc. just starting my pills today, will update to see if it works. all the best.

I'm 41 and started experiencing a mild dull pain in my lower left abdomen a few months ago. I thought nothing of it but noticed it never seemed to go away. I run 5 miles a few times a week and do 100 situps but never feel any additional discomfort. Initially my Dr. thought it was a muslce pull but several weeks later I was back again in his office in the same condition. He mentioned this to my Doctor and he pinpointed the colon as the only thing in that area. Ran an x-ray and didn't see anything unusual. My doctor has me scheduled for a CAT Scan tommorrow. Helpful to hear people's stories. I will keep you posted.

I'm a sixteen year old girl and I also have been having a lot of lower left side pain. It is very on and off especially when I lay down or sit for a while. I am extrememly active in sports and we thought for ever that it was a muscle problem. For the last 2 years I have been in and out of the hospital and been to five doctors. I have had laporoscapies, colonoscopies, ct scans, endoscopies, ultrasounds, mris, x-rays and a few other procedures and they found that I have gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastritis, and crohns syndrom. They cannot stop they pain and believe that it may be more it is a huge mistery that I am praying to be solved.

I'm a 48 yrs old female and I too am having lower left dull pain; sometimes it's worse than other days. I am having an ultrasound this coming WED to double check ovarian cysts; or possible hernia; or possible anything. Its just always there -- an annoying kind of pain. I've not done anything out of the norm -- not having fevers or anything like that --- just a dull pain.

I had just finished running and started my abs routine (had just started the routine about a week prior), when my stomach had a really odd feeling--not really pain, but odd sort of muscle movements. Had an odd feeling in the lower left abdomen for the next few days, almost like something was in there. Then on day 4 (today) a small, barely noticeable, bump showed up in the same area. Some discomfort, not really pain, is there.
Because it occurred while I was exercising I assumed it was some sort of muscle tear. Pretty much just resting in hopes that it will heal. Will schedule a doctors appointment just in case.
