I was dx'd with mild diverticulosis in Dec 2011.  I have been to the ER quite a few times for the  moderate to severe rectal bleeding.  Once I was admitted and watched..bleeding stopped and H&H was fine so sent home.  The orher times, sent home from the ER. 

Do any members deal with this?  I am going to have another colonoscopy soon. 

My symtoms are urge to defecate, bleeding after many bowel movements and an irritablke tummy. 

How do you deal with this?
