Hey guys, I'm 5'10-5'11, 13 years old and 250 pounds. My maximum bench press (1 repition) is 130. If I keep weightlifting, will I stay this height? A few years ago my doctor said I'd be over 6'4. I'm trying to make it to the NFL so I'm starting really early. I already have a full on beard. Will weight lifting keep me short? Or will I eventually get to an appropriate height.


hey  ideanmalek, if you do it in moderation it should affect you it should be even healthy and good for you, but since your growth plate didn't lock yet, you risk damage by overloading. So be very careful, do it in moderation, and you should be safe. Hope this helped.
