After three opinions and suffering with agonizing foot pain, I decided to get the surgery. I read so many negative posts & watching a video diary on YouTube ....I got myself so worked up about my upcoming bunion/hammertoe surgery. I Scheduled my surgery at a surgical center ( less chance of infection compared to hospital) signed in , got an IV, spoke to doctor/nurses, feel asleep & woke up feeling great! Well day 2 & not bad at all. I have pain but manageable. My foot is swollen and throbbing. But if i keep my foot above my heart, keep it iced and take my meds the pain is only slight. If I can give the best advice.... Set one day on your cell phone of all ur times to take your meds and keep it until u are done with meds. This way you don't have to remember what time to take your meds. Your alarm will ring to remind you. Any questions or need reccomendations a great doctor in south jersey let me know. Good luck.
