I have been on the ring for about 9 months now and this morning I woke up to a bit of a surprise: my period a full week early. I checked to see if my NuvaRing was there, and its not. I have no idea when it could have fallen out, whether during sex last Sunday evening or a bowl movement since then, but it's sure not there now.
This would be my 3rd week in my cycle and I was due to take it out on Sunday evening. Generally when I take it out on a Sunday it takes until Wednesday for my period to come.
Using that logic my ring must have fallen out no earlier than Monday morning/Sunday night. The last time I had sex was Sunday around midnight. Should I be worried about pregnancy?
And before you tell me, yes, I'm going to get a new one to use once this period is done and will use condoms for another month or so to be safe.
