I was having heavy periods for years. My doctor told me about the thermal ablation procedure. It sounded great. I had it done on Feb 4th 09. It was very painfull , severe cramps. It took me 3 weeks to fully recover. I seemed to be doing better getting stronger(I am training for a triathlon). Then the next week (week 4 after procedure) I fell in the bed for a week. Severe weakness. I was sleeping all day and all night for about 3 days. I am still weak and very tired, taking 3 hour naps going to bed at 10:00 or 11:00pm getting up at 7:00am. This is going on day 6 of this!! My only other symptom is very sore breasts. Please someone help. Is this what I can expect from a period each month after having this done. If so I am in trouble. I have three children, I can't be in sleeping that much. Has anyone experienced this before. Thanks for your input
