As well I am clean from marijuana now and I don’t drink or anything. I’ve been so foggy headed I quit smoking pot. I just want clarity rn mentally. I want my physical health back
Yes I am also having wired withdrawal too like shortness of breath at night plus that's what wakes me up too. But I'm hoping it does go away been cold turkey for 2 weeks now and I am staying positive cause once it's out of your system it will go away that's what I'm hoping for
Thank you for your experience! I truly believe to come off of a medicine, we must be prepared to face what put us on it in the first place. These natural, holistic treatments are something more of us should try!
I have those problems on effexor and now that I'm hearing your story, I realize that all of it started after I started Effexor. I've been on it 10+ years and I've missed 3 days worth and wonder when withdrawal starts? I felt like c**p yesterday but today I woke up refreshed and ready for the world, something I haven't felt in a long time.
I was on these meds for eight and a half years and have stopped for six months although I'm no longer in withdrawal phase I am experiencing some of the symptoms mentioned does it get easier?
Absolutely true but how and where would any of us start?
I will. I'm smart as Hell. My father friends.are.attorneys. my sister and mother are a psychologist and LCSW respectively. This drug harmed me and my children.
You are.a brilliant woman. You've hit many nails on the head. I am praying for you. I agree with everything you posted.
I agree with yr belief in a pure lifestyle. Unfortunately I succumbed to Effexor. I was on 450 mg for 5 years. Then off for 1 year. Then on 150 mg for 3 years. Of course i had the horrible withdrawal zaps the first time I quit. The.second time i xpunted beads-literally-decreased by a few beads per week-alnost no symptoms. But now I'm having the old symptoms of angry outbursts and insomnia. I kusy note that I drink alcohol, take benzo's, adderral, and caffeine. I'm certainly not perfect, but I quit smoking 6 weeks ago. I work physical work 50 h poo urs/6 days per week.
I can guide a person through withdrawal of venlafaxine without barely any side-effects.
Long-term effects though....I'm still praying.

Would you be able to give a little more information about your condition? What are your symptoms? Have they improved at all over the years?
What are your long-term effects?
How are you doing now? I have some very dark days and hope it's Effexor withdrawals 2 months later.
hi, do not feel alone..3 members of my family used it..came off it and have never felt the same...i would keep seeking support of family..friends or an herbalist..you need to trust in yourself..believe in yourself..make it a goal to beat this garbage that makes billions for drug companies..i feel for you and will keep you in my prayers.
Have things gotten any better for you?
No your normal . On Effexor for 17 years. Soon as I try to go off terrible anxiety came back fast. I feel why bother trying going off again. I feel hooked and hope there are not some bad effects coming down the road. Its worse than the disease in some ways because you don't know if you should keep trying to get off or not.
