i had a miscarriage in 2011. it is my first and so far only pregnancy. i lost my baby in the first trimester and we have never known why. ive always had painful periods, but for the past couple of years i feel like ive been living in a nightmare, and it just keeps getting worse. it has become regular for my cycle to be as follows: i have cramping in my uterus, lower back, and thighs that is incredibly severe for at least three weeks before finally starting my period, which is extremely irregular. more than half a dozen times, i have had this pain for two-three months without starting my period and my dr finally gives me medication to make my period start. after my period ends, the pain stops for awhile, and then i go through this all over again. i saw a new ob/gyn when we moved in august. she ordered an ultrasound, which showed an ovarian cyst. she told me she suspected i had endometriosis, and told me that i was having severe pelvic floor spasms. she started me on micronor, ordered a repeat ultrasound in a few months, and prescribed pelvic floor physical therapy.  the micronor worked- the pain finally stopped and i was thrilled! i never did the therapy because the pain stopped before my first session. the cyst is now gone, so it was probably phsyiological. on jan 10, i started cramping again. the pain had become so severe that it is completely debilitating. sometimes i cannot get up and walk to the bathroom without my husbands help. my ob/gyn told me i could get the laparoscopy or wait and try the therapy first. i didnt even have to think about it- i told her i want the surgery asap. it is scheduled for two wks from now.  the pain is so bad that if there were any possibility of pregnancy, i would be in the ER right now thinking i was having a miscarriage. my ob/gyn gave me ponstel, and i have norco from my back surgery in nov, and even on the maximum dosage of both this pain is exrcuciating. its as bad as the pain i had when i miscarried (natural, no d&c). also, even lightly touching my lower abdomen hurts really badly.  i called my ob/gyn today in desperation and asked if she would refer me to the pain management dr. she said she would only refer me if i cancelled the surgery because otherwise there would be two drs treating me at once. what?!?? i said there is no way im canceling the surgery but i am in absolute agony. she said all she would do is tell me to go to the ER, which is ridiculous. i dont know what to do. i know ive said how horrible this pain is a million times so ill stop repeating myself on that. its also horrible emotionally. i really, really need help. is what im feeling similar to what you all have experienced? how did/do you deal with it? thank you for listening.

I'm so sorry you're having that much pain. When you do have a period, is it really heavy? My sister was going through pain from endometriosis for years. She had so many surgeries, but nothing was helping, until she finally decided to have a hysterectomy last year (she's only 33 with no children). Endometriosis can get really bad, it can even start wrapping itself around your intestines. I didn't even know about it until around 7 years ago, when my sister was diagnosed. She now works with a charity for it and tries to get the word out there, that way women can get diagnosed earlier on.

If you're in so much pain, I would just suggest going to the ER, and telling them about your upcoming surgery, but that you're in so much pain, that you need help now, because the meds aren't working. I'm sure someone there will understand.

That could be. Actually, this disease is common now. You'd better take the better medicine to cure it. The herbal remedy named . Pill can help you. Though it may work slowly, it can eradicate endometriosis and doesn't have any side effects. .. I hope it can help you.
