Hey all,

I'm 17, and in mid December (about the 14th) I was self examining and noticed a small lump on the head/top of my right testicle. Since I was concerned about it I went to my doctor and he examined me, and it turns out that it is actually on the epididymitis tube to just above the testicle, and that he believes it is a cyst or "spermatocele". He told me that if it gets bigger/becomes inflamed or causes pain, to make another appointment with him. And he also gave me the option to make another appointment if it hadn't gone away by January 1st, if it had not gone away.

Now I've examined every few days as instructured, and it has shrunk slightly, but I can find it if I try to.

Anyone have any advice here? I particularly don't like going to the doctors, and I am currently planning to only make another appointment if it causes pain or enlarges significantly. Should I be more concerned ?
