A few months ago me and my boyfriend started having sex. Everything was fine up till about a month ago when it became to painful for him to put it in. We'll wait for a while then try again but still excruciating pain. I can't put a tampon in with out it just burning really bad. And its to the point were it'll burn when I pee. I have no clue what is wrong but me and my boyfriend are starting to get worried. Can anyone help me and tell me whats wrong or if this is normal?
hey there you may have a condition called vaginitis.... it would be a good idea to get checked out to make sure you don't have any diseases does your bf have any issus peeing or pain in his penis bladder or testicles
You might have cystitis. This is quite common when first having sex. Consult your medical practitioner as this can be easily treated, but do so quickly.
No he does not. He has no problems.
What is cystitis?
Cystitis is inflammation of the bladder. It is usually caused by an infection in the bladder, but can also be caused by irritation or damage (from friction during sex, for example).
Mild cystitis usually clears up within 4-9 days. You can treat it at home by drinking plenty of water (around 1.2 litres or 6-8 glasses every day) and taking painkillers, such as paracetamol or ibuprofen. More severe cystitis can also cause abdominal pain or fever, and may need treatment with antibiotics. Untreated bladder infections can cause kidney infections. Women should always see their medical practitioner the first time they have the symptoms of cystitis. They should also return to their medical practitioner if they have the condition more than three times in one year.
Cystitis is more common in women because women have a short urethra and it's opening is also located very close to the anus, making it easy for bacteria from the anus to reach the bladder and cause an infection. Almost all women will have cystitis at least once in their lifetime.
Hope this helps.
Ok well I would try and just get looked at to make sure you don't have any infections.
