I need help. I have been dealing with this for months. Constant nausea- day and night, subsides *slightly* when I'm preoccupied. Gets unbearable when trying to sleep at night. Some times is accompanied by uncontrollable body shakes. Feeling cold. Even under the hottest water in the shower- cold sweats during the day some times. Constant feeling of having to use the bathroom (#2) but never actually going. Just the most annoying and uncomfortable situation to be in! If anyone has anything you suggest I try to ease the nausea I would be ever so grateful. Thanks

First let me start with Asalaammualaikum. I too have been struggling with daily nausea that comes and goes about three times a day. I find myself overwhelmed with life sometimes unknowingly. The expectations just to survive these days will mess a lot of us up internally. Chewing mint leaves, sipping 7up, meditating for 15 min. in a peaceful place, stretching your whole body right when you wake up and high doses of vitamins C and B are simple solutions too keeping your food down and your mind eased.....if only for a little while. It's a daily battle we can overcome if persistent. Thank yyou everyone for your posts. They let me know i'm not alone.

Thank you for explaining this. I have suffered it most of my life with both doctors and shrinks coming up empty handed. Yes stress is a certain trigger. If you don't mind, I have taken much of what you wrote and contoured it to my life. I will post it here as I've always had trouble explaining it.

"no real answers. I have been nauseous for months on end. I have quit drinking alcohol and energy drinks. Waking up too early makes me nauseous, doing too much physical activity makes me nauseous sometimes. What is wrong with me...I've been told its nothing physical.

I cant go to a doctor because I have no medical insurance. I've been tested for cancer, ulcers, anemia, I do have post traumatic stress disorder, gastric problems. I've had blood work done - nothing! I'm one of those medical cases when I am told..."we just cant find anything wrong with you!"

I just don't see why after all this time, and a different life (unemployed)...why my stress disorder is still around. STRESS??? .....is a serious killer. I stressed out for the past several years dealing with insane circumstances, now I guess I am paying for it physically.

I can't hold a steady job anymore and little chance of getting disability. I do suffer from PTSD . . and have had periods in my life where it seems to go in remission, but is totally disabling when it hits me, usually a couple days rest will allow me to go back to work, but this has continued for the last almost 2 years.

I have been called lazy and I regret that so much. I'm anything but! I can't just sit and do nothing. After work I usually am researching something or being a musician I loved to play. Now I've lost everything I have and what little I still have is all in pawn.

When I'm up to normal I work very hard in construction and can get more done than most in 5 or 6 hours I get 8 hours work done, but then I need to go home and rest. I had a great job working Security and never missed a day until bad circumstances hit and I had to quit my job. I pretty much just worked and slept though, which I didn't mind as I was able to save money and pay things off.

My days off I would stay home and play music. My daughter would ask me why I never went anywhere, but I was usually too tired and afraid to spend any money on myself.

Thx, I have found that vitamin B-12 helps, but lately I've had no money as work is scarce.

so, i have the same thing everyone else has i think. currently i am a freshman in highschool, and every morning when i wake up to get ready for school , i have to force myself to eat. i am hungry but i just cant eat in the morning. then when the 1st period bell rings, i am on the way to class , and i feel like i am gonna throw up!!everyday! the good thing is its only bad for me in the morning , and when something smells really bad. but i think i have an idea of what it is, STRESS.i dont really  understand stress yet, but if it feels like something is due and you havent done it yet and the due date is in a couple of min. , then i have allot of it. but here is something that i figured out helps when you feel like throwing up. i am in band so during marching practice afterschool , sometimes i feel nauseous , well when i move around during practice i feel like im about to gag. but when i play my trumpet, and really use my stomach muscles to push the air out, i feel better. so i think to help with this problem is to, 1. try playing an instrument. or 2. grab a wide straw, and do blowing excercises.  oh and take in deep breaths to do these.

Did you ever find out what was wrong? Your post sounded like I was writing it, symptoms, tests-and results and I am afraid of the VERY same thing.

Nauseous could most likely be your eating habits. Usually, that's what's going on for me. For example, I'll be feeling nauseous even if I drink plenty of water, exercise, and poop regularly. However, the change of foods typically causes nausea. If you have issues with eating and losing or gaining weight, it might be best to set up an appointment with a therapist and organize a schedule for what and when you are eating. Also, some programs could be used for maintaining a steady pattern. If you are overeating like I was, it will be worse, since your stomach is not able to suddenly digest all that food that you typically eat. Also, dehydration is another thing to keep in mind about. Drink 8 cups or 4 water bottles a day. I have seen the doctor myself and they don't help because nothing else is going on. If that is true for you, then simple changes can be made. Plus, make sure you are sleeping and waking up at the same time every day (even on weekends) to maintain your circadian rhythm, because sleep deprivation could have an impact. I hope both yours and my own nauseousness goes away soon.

Me too :-(
I wasn't trying to lose weight as I'm only 116-120. I'm 49 yrs old, and had some SERIOSUS family issues occur beginning of last year, and by the end of it, I was on Zanax. I was only on it for 2 months and at only a 1/2 of a dose a day. Family issues were resolved, and shortly after, I stopped the zanax. The stomach problems started soon after.... I JUST WANNA GET BETTER!!!!

Oh boy. It's nice to know other people are sick of feeling sick all the time. I've had acid reflux since I've been 15. No medication works permanently and diet changes don't help either. I feel like I'm constantly trying to keep vomit down in the back of my throat. If it's bad I actually gag and have a lot of spit come up. I've had an upper GI scope and no dmage at all. I'm so nauseous that I constantly feel the need to eat to push down the feeling. I have had some success using appetite suppressants that seem to make me feel perfectly normal, but as soon as I stop the nausea and bloating is right back. There's nothing worse than feeling like you're going to throw up every waking hour of the day. I've been to at least 5 doctors and been on several medications. No success yet. : /

Did you find from where was the nausea coming from? I'm in the same situation. I had a surgery 3 months ago and a few days after the surgery I started to have extreme nausea that would not go away. It's worse in the night and mornings. I had a lot of tests done and all of them came back ok. Let me know if you know from where was the nausea coming from please.
