I think I know what the problem is, you have asthma and marijuana was helping it
I have the same thing, only very mild asthma that usually doesn't affect me. I know that it seems to be silly since smoke in your lungs are bad for you, and that's not including the extra chemicals that might be added into the plant that you don't know about.
But, THC is an anti-inflammatory. There are two causes of asthma, one is airway constriction and the other is airway inflammation. The cause of your asthma, or even a mild shortness of breath is because your body's cardio vascular system isn't used to operating without the THC. You should probably be fine after a month with some mild exercise like jogging to compensate. If you have more serious asthma symptoms though I would recommenced seeing a doctor
Sorry for the science lesson, but it's all from personal experience myself so I know how you feel.

I woke up the next day and still felt like I was living a dream. Like I wasn't euphoric or in a full-out high, I could control myself and acted normally, but every few minutes I'd think like (wait what just happened, what did I just do, etc.). It's like I was just mindlessly acting although I was acting like my normal self, if that makes any sense 8-|
The feelings been fading throughout the week for sure, its been 5 days and I feel like its only a minor issue. Actually I don't even see it as an issue at all, I kind of enjoy this state of being kind of dazed..but I definitely want to be back at normal functioning and this better not happen every time I smoke.
I can remember something similar happening when I smoked last summer. I smoked about 2x a day for a week when I went down the shore, and when I arrived back home I still felt high a couple days later. I think that time the feeling was stronger but it wore off a lot faster...this time the feeling is more mild but it's taking soo long to wear off. I've also heard stories of people who have been like this for a month! o.O

Chad, it is probably not simply the weed that is doing it. I have had similar problems and it sounds like an allergic reaction. Your body gets tired, shuts down some brain activity so you feel extra stoned. Pot is an irritant so why you have suddenly become sensitive to it might be another story. For example candida, hypotyroidism or lyme disiease. Candida can be caused by moldy weed and lots of other things. Its more likely you have it if you eat unhealthy food. The body is continuously doing a balancing act to control bodily functions. If it gets disrupted symptoms such as dizziness, tiredness, hard to concentrate, bad dreams, joint and muscle pains, headaches, dry eyes, toothaches, nausea, sore throat, insomnia, flu-like symptoms, chest problems, stomach problems, weakness and a tingling sensation in the hands it may mean you have another problem than just weed. You will recognize these symptoms if you have struggled with them for a long time. For example if you have hyptyroidism and drink alcohol you might feel like youre getting a panic attack, get cold and dizzy.

Dude don't worry you'll be fine.
Im 27 and I have been smoking pretty regularly for about 7-8 years, pretty much every day minus the occasional (and I do mean occasional) day off. I'd say this is the first time I've gone cold turkey since I became a habitual smoker about 4years ago. Im normally straight home from work, just as the morning weedeover has worn off and blaze right up. That's me.
I still really love ganja, and I think this is quite important - never blame it or hate it. If you have this hate relationship with ganj after stopping or cutting down, you will definitely feel guilt, which is not good at all. This will only increase anxieties. It's just part of the ride guys and gals! This stuff will pass and hopefully you can either find a better balance for you or just appreciate if you're going dive back in to the weed zone you'll have to do this all again. I should say I don't intend on quitting fully, I'm doing this to be able to control when I get high and not let it rule my daily decisions, such as which friends I go see because I'm top high for some of them, or which jobs I can do because my brains slowed up a bit.
Cold turkey.
Everyone gets the sweats. I had it bad for about 7 days - ask the girlfriend.
I actually had a migraine for the first time which was an experience, vertigo, dizziness, then light sensitivity and finally the banging head ache. This could be that the ganj stopped me from experiencing them before (my mum gets them) but the head ache has passed now.
Now I'm stuck in this occasional unsteady on my feet and definite weird feeling after eating ( thanks for the posts above put my mind at ease aswell!). Now I know this will finish at some point.
I've been told this all passes and for any one still getting super high all the time, skunk hybrids definitely makes this worse. A good quality hash reduces all of this massively - including any anxieties. You may even get the giggles again with some good hash. I've read this is due to a better cbd - thc balance. Skunk is almost empty of cbd and full of thc. That's why it gets you so damn blazed. Even that finishes in the end though and you'll have to smoke a whole blunt to buzz instead of a a quick pipe hit or bong.
As for god and jesus christ, I don't know if they are real, and I don't have time for it myself but if it helps you, it helps. I guess I'd say just don't ever prioritise religion over anything else important in your life. Ha even the herbbbbb.
To the guy above who's friend has had a schizophrenic episode, this is not your fault in any way! He must have had a disposition to schizophrenia and unfortunately the ganj may have triggered it. I see you posted over a year ago and I hope this has not become a major problem for you or him and that you read this and gives you some comfort. sh*t happens and it may have happened this time but again nothing you could have done. sh*t, we know the risks going in to most unhealthy or dangerous but fun situations. This is life. And normally at its best.
All the best my fellow current/former pot heads. I hope this finds you in good stead.
Ian - my real name.
