I woke up at around 5:30 am feeling like I had to clear my throat, As I'm doing so I could feel this uncomfortable like feeling of choking!! (something lodged in there!). Scary feeling, I text my girlfriend a message telling her my problem in case I was the choke to death,,, Please let me know what to do!!! Thanks. Lasrman....

I had the same problem with shortness of breath, feeling like I couldn't fill my lungs. The Dr diagnosed stress which made no sense to me. Turned out it was anaemia... and shortness of breath is a common symptom as your blood has less oxygen in it. Pity my Dr didn't spot it, I only discovered it through a chance conversation with a friend who is a nurse.

I MAY FINALLY HAVE A SOLUTION! I have felt like there is a hair in my throat for about 2-3 weeks now. I can't cough it up. I can't swallow it. Everytime I swallow, I feel it even more. When I wake up in the morning, I don't feel it...till about 5 or 10 minutes. It doesn't hurt. It's just very annoying. Today, a co-worker told me his wife had the EXACT same symptoms. She went to her doctor and he diagnosed it as calcium buildup because she took calcium pills. He told her to stop calcium. It went away. I take alot of TUM'S with calcium. I quit them today and hopefully it will solve the problem. I hope I was a bit of help to you guys cause I know how much this condition really sucks. Good luck!

I am having the same problem for about two weeks now off and on. I went to er and they tried antibiotics and ran a culture for strep, ect. nothing came up positive for any infection. it too is driving me crazy, did you ever find out what was causing yours?

If God can make seas into dry land, if God can stop the earth from spinning on its axis, if God can heal leprosy, cure the blind, the lame, and, just a few years ago, instantly fix a broken spine in South America, then yes, God can help someone with something blocked on their throat. "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14 NIV) Try reading the bible, it is the most important book to ever exist.

Why do you not get your sinus checked? You cannot give someone this "throat clearing disease". Go see an ENT and have a scope done.
