Hi all,

I went to the doctor because i think i have an infection in my penis. He pulled my foreskin back (this is the first time) and now it cannot go back to its normal position. It has been this for 2 days but i did not experience any problem urinating, swelling (the glans is pinkish red like my lips so i don't know if this is fine) or pain. Should i let it be or should i see a doctor immediately? hope you all understand what i am saying because i want to set my mind at ease, this problem has been troubling me.

Thanks

It may be too soon to get worried, but do keep an eye on it, frequently. If swelling becomes serious, or you get a feeling of pressure, throbbing, pain or discomfort, be ready to act quickly. Squeeze the penis head to force the blood out of it and make it as small as possible, then use your other hand to pull the foreskin forward to the end, to cover the head once more.
However, if no such problems occur, you have only mild case of paraphimosis, which is not necessarily a bad thing. It can actually help to keep the foreskin in its retracted state. Once you get used to the new sensation, which could take a week or so, you will find it more pleasant than before, sex will be improved and you will love the permanent cleanliness.
Good luck.
