I am going to the bathroom to void quite often. Yesterday I had a full bladder every 30-60 minutes. I am in my 30's and have been having this problem for about 3 years now. It started out one night where every 10 minutes I had to void and could not sleep at all. I have alot of pressure in my bladder. The doctor tested to see if I had a UTI and it came back negative. I was prescribed oxybutuin. This is not working. I drink maybe four cups of coffee a day and no other drinks after that. I had stopped drinking coffee, tea, soda or anything with caffenie in it and nothing changed. Has this happened to anyone before?

hi leah, if this has been going on for 3 years why has your doctor not referred you to a specialist? if the obvious has been tested for - uti - and this has come back clear and you are still struggling 3 years on then further investigations need to be performed. it may be that your bladder is irritated for some reason, really you need to be bladder scanned to see just how much urine you are producing. also be careful not to reduce your fluids too much as you are risking dehydration and infection. well done for staying off the caffeine, but chase this up with your doctor. hope this helps

Have you had a cystoscopy done? I did and everything was cool. Gratned, it was NOT the most pleasant thing in the world, but it will give peace of mind to find out that everything is cool when this comes back NEGATIVE, ok? Go to your urologist or if you do, your regular doctor. If this has been GOING on for THREE years, the above person is right. WHy hasn't your regular doctor DONE ANYTHING? If you have to, SWITCH doctors! If not, just the bug the hell out of them until somethng is done! Are you sleeping enough? I have a UTI as was diagnosed by my nurse today and am waiting to hear fromt eh doc as to what to get. Money is tight. What about Vesicare? I couldn't take the 10mg tab. Back pain was TOO horrendous! I had to go to 5mgs.
