I have read a lot about gallbladder pain and symptoms. The one thing I cannot find anywhere is if an attack makes you feel like you just got the wind knocked out of you.
I have the pain in the upper abdomen and at the same time, feeling like I just got the wind knocked out of me for about 3 years. Never thought much of it because it only happened maybe 1/month. Now, the last 2 days I have had this feeling. Last night was so bad, I couldn't get to sleep. My mom wants me to go to the doctor, but I don't want to waste the money unless I read somewhere about feeling like the wind got knocked out of you.
34yr old female with a 15yr old child. No recent surgeries/injuries. A little overweight. Thanks!

Hi:
I know a couple of people who have had gallbladder problems. Their gallbladders were soon removed. I have seen them in pain and it is apparently unbearable, horrible, intense and any other words that you can come up with in that category. If you do have a gallbladder problem, your description of e pain would be very accurate and it will probably get worse. You have got to get to a doctor. This may be life-threatening. In addition, it could be something else. I don't mean for you to panic, but that kind of pain, without explanation is not good. Don't put your health at risk...Get checked out.
