I have had the worst week for sometime since I had my gallbladder removed over a year and a half ago, I wanted to ask anyone else there experiences after a year or more after the removal of your gallbladder.
I usually get alot of wind because I suffer from IBS aswell as a hiatel hernia, last week I was eating what seems to be now a half cooked pizza, now not sure if this affected me but the next day I was in very much uncontrolable stomach pain and diahorea for which I am still suffering from five days later. I had what I can only describe as shooting pains in my stomach followed by uncontrolable diahorea, I could not face a meal or even feel well to look after my three month old daughter and had to call a friend to sit with my daughter until my wife returned from work.
I felt like my stomach was flushing, what I mean is it felt like all my contents inside were flushing around and then I passed a motion, the motions got more frequent to which I was going six times a day, this turned to water based diahorea (sorry for all the description), anyway now I am at a stage whenever I eat about an hour or so after I have to pass it out, this is worrying me and I have never had this after the operation, I have always suffered from diahorea but this is something new.
Can anyone relate to what I am saying, I am now worried to go out the house incase I poo myself that is how bad it is, I am hoping it will pass and think I could have caught a cold or the pizza was uncooked enough to give me a problem.
Thanks for any replies in advance
Richard

had my gall bladder removed about 18 months ago. Can relate to having to be near a loo about an hour after eating. but am the opposite if I don't drink at least 1 litre each day. I get constipated which causes more pain than usual. I also have an enlarged liver so do not know if this contributes to problems. I suffer very badly with serious burping all day every day and cannot bend without getting bad acid reflux and feeling sick. I take anti acid tablets from the doctor and also anti depressants plus pain killers. Nothing really helps so I think it's necessary to find what works for you. Personally I have given up cakes, biscuits, bread, alcahol ........
