Gardarsil shot, Late period, Negative Pregnancy test?

I AM EXPERIENCING THE SAME THING! MY PERIOD IS A WEEK LATE AFTER MY FIRST SHOT AND I CALLED MY DOCTOR'S OFFICE AND THEY SAID IT DOESN'T EFFECT IT. I THINK THAT IS BS. I HAVE HAD 4 NEG PREG TESTS . I ALSO WENT AS FAR AS TO CALL MERCK THE COMPANY THAT MAKES THE DRUG. THEY EVEN TOLD ME IT WASN'T A SIDE EFFECT, BUT I'VE READ TONS OF FORUMS OF OTHER PEOPLE GOING THROUGH WHAT I AM ! THEY HAD THE NERVE TO SAY DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING I READ. SOMETHING IS VERY FISHY WITH THIS VACCINE AND I WILL NOT BE GETTING THE 2ND AND 3RD SHOT! MY MIND IS GOING CRAZY RIGHT NOW!

To everyone in this forum: I didn't read all of the entries but i'm sure i read about 20 or more and they all pretty much say the same thing just some more detailed than the others. Women like us all over the place have agreed to taking these Gardasil shots and are having late periods. Ive been searching website to website and cannot find any reference to late periods on any trusted site!

My story is i went to the doc on the 5th and they gave me my 1st shot. They said the site could swell or itch or burn for a few days. It was tender but thats all for me. My period usually starts between the 8th and the 11th here it is the 16th (which isnt too late...) but it's late! I have taken prego test and they like many of you have came up negative as well.

If a late period is caused to so many women due to this shot why doesn't any certified person come out and say so?!? I haven't called my doctor yet and after reading these posts i have a feeling what they will say. "It's not a side affect" Another thing is i'm supposed to start my 1st set of birth control - how am i to do that if i don't start my period?!?!?

I'm trying to be calm and not worry about it but this is crucial information and it's literally childish of the autorities to stand around with their mouths shut. So what it causes late periods, i'm sure if we were all warned before the shot none of us would be so worried and spending money on pregnancy test! Right??

I pray that someone figures something out and good luck to all you women out there that are in my shoes... i know it is stressful!

ok.. so i've been going through the same thing and this is definitely a relief. the first 2 shots in the series didn't affect me except for the sore arm and irritation with a burning sensation in the muscle for a couple days. i just got the 3rd shot and my fiance and i got caught up in the moment and well yeah.. you know where that goes. only now i'm almost 2 weeks late for my period and still getting negative pregnancy results. needless to say i'm freaked! and it would have been nice to know about an interruption with my cycle.

oh, so glad to hear u all missed ur periods after gardasil, means im not the only one... my first period after the shot was 10 days late.. i am yet to have the second and am 18 days late... the months almost up... it would be so nice for them to warn us of these things. I have been trough 5 preg tests, i dont have any syptoms, im almost certain im not pregnant.

I had the first shot with no reactions at all. I recently had the second shot and I have been getting more and more nervous because I also had a late period. I have a regular 28 day cycle and it's now 6 days past when I should have started. It occured to me today that maybe the shot had something to do with it, so I decided to look up the possibility online. I am so glad I found this forum, while reading all of the posts and feeling better that I am not alone, I got up to go to the bathroom, and it came. I am now on my period. 6 days late, but at least it's here. I don't know if that helps anyone since some of you seem to be going for months without it, but I thought I would share.

Well, it's nice to see im not the only one bugging out. My period is a couple days late and I recently got the shot. I also wish my doctor said sothing to me about this. Has anyone had severe pain in their lower abdomen....like where your cervix is????

I got my first shot on April 22nd and I was supposed to start my period on May 1st. Today is the 8th and I still haven't gotten it. Within the past year and a half, my periods have been skipped like every other 2. I know I am definitely not pregnant because I am 17 and am still a virgin (until the day I marry :-D ) I think it could be because of the shot, but I honestly don't care because I hate periods. If you miss a period, I wouldn't freak unless you are sexually active and don't want to be pregnant.

Oh My god. Thank God i found this. my period its a week late already and this never happened to me, i got my gardarsil shot april 20, 2 days after my period finished, my period was supposed to come may 16, but its the 24 already & nothing, i took 2 pregnancy test already & they came out negative, there's no symptoms of me getting my period and that got me really worried.

Wow! This is some really interesting stuff, I went to the dr about 3 weeks ago and took the hpv. My period is always regular, and it was suppose to come today but nothing has started. I'm getting really nervous right about now. I took a pregnancy test the day I went to the dr and it said that i was negative. I feel normal. I'm just super nervous. Idk what to do, Im sexually active and we always use protection.

okay so im very worried also. last time i had sex it was protected.and it was on the last day of my period. i was bleeding slightly. which this was on the 15th of june.... on the 25th i went to the doctor and had the 1st shot. and today is july 24. so i have completey skipped my period. its almost 13-15 days late. im really worried im pregnant. but my breasts dont hurt. and i have no signs of pregnancy im very small and my tummy looks the same. doesnt look like im pregnant. lol. i pray im not. hopefully its just these crazy shots.
