Can you make it go on and off? Or hold it I guess you can say "on" for 15 seconds or more? I'm not being sarcastic and with all due respect.

I ment to reply here lol..

I've gotten in one by choice, but turning it off is hard to do, i wiggle around to get out of it by trying to move my back and legs, or i try to mumble something to get my own attention, if that makes sense.
I can be in one for around 30 seconds, i try not to panic too much but there's always that momment i get freaked out and have to come back.
But onece i come back and close my eyes again, it will instantly start happening again, so i try to at least make the obe happen several times in a row so i can learn to turn it on and off much easier.

I want to also add that i believe the best way to get of your body is to stay up, then instead of sleeping, you meditate, maybe we're not suppose to fall asleep ever, maybe we're suppose to meditate to get into an obe instead, meditatin is exactly like sleeping, just deeper i think.. I know when we sleep, our brain activity increases severely and our body rests, just like when you have an obe right? Our bodies are meditated/resting, and our brain activity increases to the point of an obe.

The same thing happens to me! I get a buzzing in my brain for just a second, my vision goes blurry for the same time frame. The buzzes usually doesn't happen within less than an hour or two of each other. I'm afraid it might be linked to a seizure I had before. (I'm 12 if that's helpful information at all) Some more information: I have Bipolar Disorder, RAD, PTSD, and ADHD. Like I said, I've had a seizure before, I don't know much about it because I was asleep (during a sleepstudy) but my Mom said my heart rate either sped way up or slowed way down (I forget which). My biological mother has also had a history of seizures.

I've had this as well. From very early as as child I would get a nauseous feeling in my stomach when I knew the buzzing head would come.

The best way I could describe it is being next to one of those electical generators, that same sort of electrical buzz only getting more and more intense and I would eventually pass out. I would have around one of these a year.

When i got these I would try and fight it by (it's really hard to describe) but by tensing my head/brain untill but still i collapsed. When i was around 17 I finally managed to stop it making my collapse and ever since then it hasn't happend again. Weird eh

I mentioned to people before and no-one believed me, even medical people. So to have actually found something on the web about it is really interesting.

I've never taken medication for anything, and I've never done a drug in my life. When I get this buzzing/electrical feeling in my head, its usually if I think about something really hard. Basically I don't pay any attention to anything physical and try to figure certain things out. Usually this happens after a big test, or when I'm going to sleep and think about science and space. Talked to people about it, but they all think I'm crazy or faking it. It's like I can actually feel the electric sparks that occur when the brain thinks. Hopefully someone else feels this when thinking, and I'm not just crazy lol.

I have been having electrical buzzes in my brain just before drifting off to sleep. I get one buzz, and that's it.....I sleep well though.

I am 65 and this has been occurring for a year or so. I am in excellent health otherwise, and have just accepted it as part of life....I am not on any medications either. It doesn't happen during the day at all. When I asked my family doctor, he wasn't very familiar with it and did mention tinnitus, but I don't think I have that issue at all. If it worsens I will consult a Neurologist. Thank you for your posts and for listening.:-|

I get these two.  I live by power lines ,anyone else?  I had the EMF levels checked in my home. They said they were normal.  However, when a reading was done across the street they were considerably lower.  I am concerned as well.

I have these burst of electrical activity in my head too which give a low buzzing sound and vibrate up through my head last for a few hours sometimes all day don't know what it is, I don't think it is tinnitus although that is what the doctors put it down to best to see a neurologist x

I know EXACTLY how you feel- I even went and saw my gp about it and she just gave me this weird blank look.

For some reason it does not scare me - I am just intrugued as to what it is. They seem to be happening more and more now.

99% of the time - it is fine, over and done with before you know it. But I did have one a while back that HURT LIKE HELL!!!.... nearly ended up in tears. It seemed to be the same short burst of electricity - but EXTREMELY powerful???

I have no idea what it is ...there is NO ringing in the ears etc. ...

My GP seems to be of very little help and I live in an extremely small rural village in Aust. ( no specialists or other help around here)

Can anyone advise what it might be??
