Good or bad experience using Reiki Therapy?

I am guessing the reiki practioner did the Sei He Ki symbol which activates your emotions. Its not always a good idea to have this on your first visit as it can as you have pointed out cause distress as you are releasing your blocked emotions. the tears and anger has been with you for a while and you are simply releasing it as part of the healing process. I was taught that this particular symbol is NOT for everybody and to use wisely. Maybe try a different practitioner and advise them not to use the Sei He Ki symbol on you and you will notice a difference.

Nancy, i am a reik practioner lev 2, I had my 2 attuntments two close together, I feel it triggered my chronic arthritis, I think it depends who does the healing, I have had more bad then good experiences, but when they are positve they are good, be careful who the healer

That is why you want to know your Reiki healer is credible and works in love and healing white light. My Reiki healer and teacher is amazing. Mother Theresa is her spirit guide who works with and protects her and her clients from any harm. If you work in the light the darkness cannot stay. Maybe those who had negative experiences were "healed" by a person who did not have the lightest and right intentions. Maybe that healer has his/her own demons. Just like any profession in this world, some are great at it, others not to much. I know some Reiki practitioners who I would never let touch me! They are good people but I wouldnt trust them touching my energy flow. Its about finding the right match. You cant just blindly choose someone.

I think that there was a spirit there to help you heal. And for some reason put that box in your hand, maybe for you to put the negativity in, then to release it into white light. Or mentally burn it up. The negative feelings you've been having is part of the healing...releasing of negativity, that you must need.

Please see this worrying experience as a true gift & a chance to stop & reevaluate your life. Google & research reiki thoroughly with your "openmindedness" paying special attention to articles that explain its dangers. It is rife & is doing terrible damage through misguidance/ignorance. It is most definitely not a Godly gift but is rather of the occult & has its basis in spirtualism. May you choose God & enjoy your newfound freedom. Blessings. :)

If anyone who has undergone an sttunment to Reiki and experiences negativity, it's actually a good thing! Its your boss way of telling you that heeling is occurring. If negativity persists, please consider self healing repeatedly. Its mostly unresolved issues that lead people to believe Reiki to be a negative practice. Reiki is a very intelligent energy it knows what you need before you do :)

The only true healing comes from Jesus Christ. Do the research on Reki and where it comes from. Its not real healing. Jesus is the son of God and the reason He came to earth was to heal, redeem and restore. I wouldn't try Reiki...it actually opens up a Person to the demonic realm.

blessed. To say that Reiki does not have any negative effects just is not true. You only have to look here to see that. I will never have reiki again after a very weird and dark, so called treatment. I'm not going into detail as I don't want to go there. reiki can be very dangerous indeed!!!

Hi. I wanted to share my experience with the guest that is suffering from headaches. A little background on me: I have been suffering from constant headache since the age of 10. Let me repeat that just so that you understand; I have had no headache free days since I was 10 years old. Last night, my mentor (who is 3rd generation Reiki Master) did approx. 3 minutes of Reiki on me; I did notice a slight change in my headache (which prior to her touching me was a 7 on a scale from 0-10 "10" being a Migraine & after I would say it was more like a 5). This morning when I got up, I noticed that my head hurt less. The only place on my head that I can still feel a headache is on my left side back quadrant of my skull. Considering all the years I have been dealing with my headache; this was a huge improvement for me.

Try to seek out the original Japanese method of Reiki vs. "westernized" or "new age" styles of reiki. Perhaps this is why you have been disappointed/put off. Stick to the original teachings.

You go through a tuning process for 21 days after a reiki treatment. Its a bit of an emotional rollercoaster so you get angry depressed happy teary excited it's your bodies way of getting rid of the negativity and bringing balance. Don't ever be afraid of reiki but do be fussy about your practitioner get lots of info about them before booking

What your experiencing is emotional release from reiki, dont fight it let the emotions flow. NOT in a physical way of other people go to a boxing ring.
The more you hold tears the more it will build inside you and come out as anger.
