I have auditory hallucinations with my seizures. I hear multiple voices all at once, but I can't tell what they're saying. It's like there are people sitting near me having a rapid conversation and I can't figure out what they're saying. I also have visual hallucinations sometimes and these made me feel a little whacky. I didn't tell anyone, not even my husband. I thought for sure that if I told a doctor they'd want to lock me up, but the doc said it was just a not-uncommon occurrence during a seizure.

So you're not alone, it’s normal as far as having seizures go or so my neurologist told me. You are not the only lucky one who has these illusions/hallucinations. I have both auditory and visual illusions/hallucinations and my neuro says they are called illusions because they are caused by seizure activity. But my pdoc swears there is no such thing as an illusion, He says they are hallucinations. Honestly, it matters little to me what they are called. I just know I have them and they are always associated with seizures.
