Had pin pulled out 4 weeks after surgery. It has been 48 hours since this was done. Everytime i stand up, even after only 5 minutes my foot swells immediately and turns a deep red/purple color. The swelling will also go as far up as my ankle. If I sit and elevate it the color goes back to normal and swelling reduces. Is this normal?
