The same thing that has been happening often here happened to me. One of my privates was bigger than the other. There was a small hard lump on the end of the smaller one. It is very hard and hurts if I squeeze it at all. I waited a few days and felt for it again and it's still there, but much harder to find and it's smaller. I think it may have split into two really small ones, or that is just my mind playing tricks on me. I'm going to wait a few more days and if it is on the same track it should be gone, if not I'm going to get it checked out by a doctor. By the way, I'm also 12, and I'm not scared or anything of a doctor looking at my private area (I've had it done before during check ups and I'm perfectly fine with it) but I'm more scared about how to tell my mom. I have no clue what so ever what she will say, and I worry she might question if I'm telling the truth about how I found it.

You should get it checked out with a doctor, it could be a cyst or something similar.

Your mom should be proud that you've been checking yourself. Its something all men are encouraged to do :)

Can you talk to your father about this? It may be easier for you.

Hello guys. I'm 14 and from the UK. I have the same problem as the original poster and don't have the guts to tell my mum. Mum and Dad are divorced and telling my Dad would be quite wrong as I hardly talk to him.

I have a doctor down the road, but I don't really like him. Can I leave it until I leave school when i'm in college?

Hope you can help guys :-)

Taz.

Hi Taz,

It really is best to get these things checked out as soon as you can.

Can you see another doctor at the practice, or you could try to transfer practices.

Alternatively, your local hospital may have a drop-in clinic, which may be worth finding out about.

Let us know how you get on :-)

Hey this is the same 14 year old from the last quote and I just wanted to add that the lump on my testicle has not changed in size since I noticed it about a year ago I did a monthly checkup on it myself and it never grew or has given me any discomfort at all does this mean that it probably isn't cancerous?

I'm 40 years old and have something similiar. I noticed it a couple months ago and it hasn't gone away. Hasn't got much bigger though. I have to pull my junk up a certain way for it to show, then it moves around somewhat when I cough. Seems like it's not in the same place all the time though. On the left side.

I am kind of stuborn about going to the doctors and if it was cancer, I don't know how much pricking at it I would want. Cancer seems to grow the fastest after exposed to the air. My mom lived a long time with cancer until a surgery to fix something else, then it spread thru her body and she was dead within 3 months.

It's encouraging to hear the words that testicular cancer has a high survival rate. A

Hi 'Guest', its best to get these things checked out by a doctor, as I'm sure you understand that no one on here can see or feel it for ourselves.

As a long shot though, can you do a google search for fordyce spots for me and let me know if that is what you mean.

Im 14 and noticed a small lump on my testical and am scared of it being cancer. Im seeing a doctor in 3 days and am worried that something will happen before than. can someone please respond and tell me what it can be other than cancer. or at least tell me that the fact that its only the size of a pencil eraser now that it can be treated easily. Lastly, if it is testicular cancer what can you get it from!
