I'm 16 years old and my boyfriend is 17 turning 18. He is on house arrest. We had unprotected sex and now I'm pregnant. We tried to run away (I know it was a really dumb idea) I ended up coming home, but I still don't know where he is, if he's okay, or if he's even alive. My mother and father are not being very kind to me or considering my feelings. They say he should never get to meet our baby. All I'm asking is how to manage this or what I should do so I'm not stressed or worrying throughout my pregnancy? Also my boyfriend is not a bad guy at all. He bought a ring for me and was trying to find a way to truly support our little family.

Im not going to sugar coat this so here it goes. The only way to get your parents to accept him is if he steps up and becomes a man instead of a boy. He needs to get a degree, high school diploma, ged something. He needs to get a decent job even if its working as a trash man or flipping burgers at mcdonalds because when your a father you do whatever you have to so you can support your family even work 3 jobs if he has to. He needs to get off house arrest and stay out of jail and out of trouble because in their eyes he is just a low life punk. He needs to mentally, finacially, and physically support you for your family to accept him. Right now to your parents he is a no good piece of sh*t that knocked up their daughter, tried to run away with her, and hes on house arrest for whatever. There is nothing your going to say to your parent that will make them like him. Good Luck
