This was AndroidsDon'tGetHeadaches, I forgot to put in my username! :)
I wish I could say my headache was gone. I am coming up on 11 months of a headache that began in September of last year. You literally couldn't make that up. It has improved slowly over time, but i can't get it to go away. I will look into the balancing supplement you suggested. Why not? I've tried everything else :(
I posted two months ago about having ten days of a headache after coming off of 6 months on the Nexplanon Implant. I'm 22 and haven't really been on birth control other than the Nexplanin for 6 months, and a month or two trial of an OCP that made me an angry person. Let's just say, I still have the weird pressure headache that feels like my brain is pushing out of my nose. The only thing that has brought me any relief is Young Living's Progessence Plus Serum. It has Wild Yam extract in it that is supposed to balance women's hormones. Unfortunately, it will only eliminate my headaches for a day and then they come back. I'm thinking of trying the CoQ10 and the Female Balance pills as well.
The end has to be in sight. Two months of a constant every day headache is robbing me of so many things I should be enjoying right now.

11 months. :( That is so awful and unfair. I really hope the pills that helped me will help you, too. One of my cousins told me that grape seed extract also helps with migraines (plus it's really good for you). I haven't tried it, but that might be another option for you to try, if the above doesn't help you (but I hope it will!).
Don't give up. You will find a solution. You are amazing and don't deserve to be in pain everyday. Sending health and hope your way.

For some reason my first message cut off half of my reply. But for the girl who posted two months ago, the Female Balance Pills also have Wild Yam, along with Dong Quai, Borage Oil Powder, and Chaste Berry Tree.
The bottle says to take one pill up to three times a day, but I just started with one a day in hopes it would work, and it did. You might need to play around with the dose to see what works for you.
I really hope this will help cure me once my body is back to normal, because it would be annoying to have to take these forever.... But then again, I prefer being headache free.

I was the girl who got off of Nexplanon 2 months ago: Thanks for your response, I picked up coQ10 today on my way home from work with a bad headache (it hasn't been this bad since I ran out of my Progessence Oil four days ago). I don't know if the coQ10 will even work for me, but the store i was at didn't have the Female Balance, I may have to order it online.
That's the thing, I'm not sure why the headache gets worse again once I stop using the oil. It's like my body is incapable of balancing out my hormones on it's own, and is relying on the oil. I hope this isn't a "for the rest of my life" thing.

I was the girl who got off Nexplanon two months ago: I have begun taking the CoQ10, haven't noticed anything, but I've only taken 3 pills so far. As a last ditch effort, I have also ordered the Now Female Balance pills and will update once I have taken them for a week.
Darn. I'm sorry the CoQ10 isn't working for you. For me, it didn't relieve my headache fully, just dulled it enough to allow me to concentrate.
I couldn't find the Female Balance pills in a store either. I ordered them off Amazon. I *really* hope they work for you. They worked for me, and I feel fine now. I am nervous about weening off of them though. I really hope they will just help us get our bodies back in sync.
Good luck.

Glad to hear they are working for you... that's seriously amazing. I unfortunately started my menstrual cycle so won't be able to start the Female Balance pills until my cycle is over. I'm nearly to the point of just going to the doctor because there hasn't really been a single moment in two months that I haven't had a headache. I've forgotten what not having a headache even feels like anymore.
Hopefully you can start them soon. Crossing my fingers that they work for you... However if this does continue, it might not be a bad idea to see a doctor just to rule everything else out.

This will probably be my last update. Since taking the Female Balance pills, my headaches have gone away. I don't take these everyday anymore, but they do help my acne so when I feel a breakout coming on, I'll take 2 a day.
Other than that, I switched to the Rainbow Light Women's One Food Based Multivitamin that has hormonal support, which I try to take everyday. I think these vitamins have contributed to my body adjusting after birth control and allowed me to ween off the Female Balance pills.
If anyone is wondering, the Female Balance pills helped regulate my period as well, so I am on a pretty normal schedule so far (every 28 days or so). I also try to exercise at least 3 times a week, so I think that has also helped my body readjust to life after birth control.
The final thing I have noticed that has helped me is drinking 1 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in a glass of water morning and night. Apple Cider Vinegar supposedly helps with hormones, and I think it must work because when I drink it, the hormonal acne around my mouth and chin disappear. When I stop taking it though, they come back with a vengeance. The Apple Cider Vinegar has also helped my body stop overheating (which started happening after I stopped taking birth control).
Anyways, I'm not sure if my experience will help anyone. I just wanted to share in the off chance it does. Best of luck to my fellow warriors. I hope you all feel better soon. You deserve to feel amazing everyday!

Hello Girls- I literally just came across this discussion board and can't tell you enough how happy I am that I did. I was on Birth Control for about 14 years (I am 31) and the most recent one that I was on was Minestrin24 FE. About 4 weeks ago, I had a bad migraine and had to get an MRI. Since I had the Migraine, my neurologist told me that I should get off of my Birth Control. I got the migraine the day after I started my sugar pills and then I took three more pills (sun, Monday, Tuesday) and Wednesday, I discontinued as that was the day that I was told to discontinue. Since I did that, like other posts here, I have had a pressure headache in my temples, behind my eyes and nose and behind my ears. I cannot believe the amount of posts here that stated that they feel "as if they had a headache in their nose," as that is just how i feel sometimes. I thought it was sinuses at first as well like other posts and was prescribed progesterone and antibiotics with no success. This is not a "pain" headache, more pressure like others have stated. I have been so stressed as I wish I would just feel better :( My neurologist thought that it was from stress since the migraine and prescribed Amitriptyline however I do not want to take that! I called my OBGYNs office and the nurse called me back and stated that this shouldn't be happening due to coming off the birth control however this message board is stating differently. If there have been any new developments since the above post I would like to know as these headaches make me feel as though someone is squishing my head and it makes it very hard to concentrate and do things without getting anxiety. I just want to close my eyes (again- like other posts here). Any help/advice is greatly appreciated! The female balance pills- are they natural? Which are they on Amazon? How long did they take to kick in?
I was having the same issue and also got two stiff necks. I talked to a holistic specialist and she said these are actually VERY common side effects from coming off the pill. Unfortunately no one mentions those when you decide to start taking birth control. I literally had a headache for a month straight. I started taking these Maca pills on Friday, I feel much better today with no headache. Birth Control depletes your body of so many nutrients that when you go off the pill, you go into hormone withdraw. It takes a while for your body to regulate hormones. Some supplements can help though.

Did you try the Female Bakance Pill? Is it working? I bought them and I'm starting them today. Hopeful!
Can you update with how it worked? Thanks
