I've read many of the posts in this thread with interest.  On and off I've suffered from the majority of the symptoms for years. Some days I'm fine, others I get severe headaches, sore neck, painful eyes, nausea and fatigue.  This especially happens at work, even on days that aren't stressful or particularly busy, but rarely happens when I'm on holiday.  It really started to affect my career as some days I didn't have the energy to work.  I looked at loads of possibilities, mono/ME, chronic migraines, dietbetes but none really fit the symptoms.  Then I made a break through...eye strain (along with a little dehydration)!  I use computers a lot of the time at work, I use them at home too but to a much less extent.  I also have fluorescent lighting in the office which isn't great.  It tends to be worse in the winter or during bad weather because I can't rely on the natural light alone.  All of this leads to chronic eye strain.  Most of the posts I have read could be explained by this e.g. 14 - 15 year old is when a lot of people start using computers heavily, exams time, work all seem to be linked to strong bouts.  For me this seems to be the key - even the sleep issues and waking up still tired the next day, the difficulty concentrating, everything!  Apologies if someone else has already posted on this but I wanted to share my findings,  a quick google search will bring up symptoms, causes, 'cures' and prevention, best of all there isn't a lot of cost, mostly common sense.  I hope this helps you and if not good luck on finding the cause and a cure.

you might have low blood pressure try licking some salt off the palm off your hand about a 1/2 teaspoon in the morning. make sure you are drinking plenty off water through out the day. eat protein every morning and several small mealscontaining protein through out the day. you must bring food like string cheese, whole grain bread sandwiches, apples carrots hard boiled egg.so planning ahead is important.eat good fats like olive oil almond butter. so good carbs,(complex) proteins and healthy fats. and always carry waterand drink often before you feel thirsty. remember that caffeine can dehydrate you often headaches are due to dehydration. i feel bad for you watch out for to much texting and tv etc. good luck to you. take care of your body so it can take care of you.

I have symptoms similar to yours. This one spot on the center left side of my head hurt all day. Now my head just hurts. My head feels like someone beat it with a metal club after I get up when I layed down for a long time. I feel dizzy when I move too fast, and my head, oh it feels horrible. My eyes are also turning a bit red. My breathing s rough and sometimes wheezy. My throat got dry at least 10 times today, and this is only the first day. I tried pain killers and it didn't work, but when I listened to a Youtube video called Endorphin Release/Headache Relief - Delta/Theta/Gamma Meditation Binaural Beat BrainSync, I felt almost fine for about 2 minutes. Then my headaches came back. Try listening to soothing music and Headache-realief music for a little while, and you'll feel fine - for a short amount of time, though. P.S, When listening to the link of the headache relif music, I suggest you watch it on a computer and look at the moving images. Otherwise it won't work.

I have suffered from migraines and regular headaches for most of my life. I am 44 and am just now figuring out what has been going on. First of all my migraines were monthly (menstrual migraines) Fiorinal/Fioricet was the only thing that would help. with really bad ones. (cluster migraines that lasted for days) i'd take ibuprofen along with. ...suggested by my Dr at the time. I always felt in my heart it was all hormonal...then had my ovaries removed as a preventative because my mom had ovarian cancer. It was the best thing i ever did! I do not get regular migraines, still every once in a while, but been able to manage with excederin. For some reason the aspirin and caffeine helps.

The dizziness when getting up after sitting down for long periods of time is caused by your heart rate slowing down when you are sitting. Once you stand up your heart rate has to beat a lot faster than before to catch up with your body. This causes the blurred Vision and dizziness.(next time just slowly stand up)

Anyone else try vitamin and Mineral supplements? I also am 34 and the only difference is that it is cool outside and I have begun getting the fever symptoms. This has been going on for several days, which is how I got to this site. Began with exhaustion, then came the headaches, and nothing is making any of the symptoms go away, not ibuprofen or aspirin or iron and vitamin C. I thought it must be a vitamin/mineral defficiency, so I have been taking Iron + Calcium with vitamin C or Grapefruit Juice. Plus aspirin and ibuprofen. Probably killing my stomach and liver but I never expected i to hang on to me so long. Also a very stiff neck. So Uncomfortable I can't think straight. Anyone else try vitamin and Mineral supplements?

Hi everyone, I am having sort of the same symptoms where I wake up in the morning and my head hurts really bad and it hurts the rest of the day, it barley started happening to me about 1 week ago. I am tired all the time and dizzy. Sometimes my mouth goes numb and I don't understand why. I just want all of this to go away, it makes my day a living hell, and it hurts to do anything through out the day. Sometimes I even get a earache.
