I'm 14 and I have the same headacke problem.(without the blood) It's been like 2 years or more. Every time i stand up i get really dizzy and i feel weird for a few seconds..I went to a doctor and she told me it can be caused from the vestibular system..I have some problems with my ears too,so i think it's somehow connected. I've tried so many pills but the won't just help.
I hope you are better now.

Ask your doctor to test you for I I H , it involves having a lumbar punch, but is worth asking about. You need to be referred to a headache specialist. Good luck and all the best x

Hi All, Im 17, female. I have been experiencing pretty much all these symptoms since i was 8. I have been up and down the hospital multiple times for tests. I have had an mri, ecg, and various other tests. It's very frustrating to be discharged from the hospital after being told there's nothing they can do. I have been put on various medications to which none have worked. I have been given glasses which also do nothing (Though, i need them anyway as one eye is stronger than the other) I know how you're all feeling but tbh, i wouldnt expect much. After them doing tests and not finding anything they just tend to give up. I'm actually planning on going back to the doctors in a few weeks to talk to them about what i can do because i cant keep living like this. Some doctors i've talked to have suspected a thing called IIH but it's very rare so they wont even bother doing any tests on me to diagnose it. It's actually quite pathetic how my doctors cant really be asked to do much with me and so have just completely given up. If anyone finds anything that calms down the headaches i'd like to know because it gets annoying and frankly, Living 9 years with daily headaches IS NOT how i want to carry on living. If anyone has any advice feel free to email me

I have been exhausted for YEARS....and now my headaches are coming more and more frequent to every day now. I am dizzy and nauseated a lot also. Of course, I see my doctor, and have been complaining forever but they don't have an answer for me. Everything also hurts so I'm thinking fibromyalsia....it's the only answer I can find and there is no cure and the doctors don't want to believe this is a real thing. Very frustrating.

I was searching online and came across your post. Have you and your doctor been able to pinpoint a cause? how are you doing now? My 14 year old daughter has been experiencing the exact same symptoms you describe. It all started about 6 months ago. She has had an MRI brain scan, and an MRI of the spine. Her diagnosis is Chiari Malformation of the brain, which basically means that part of the brain (lower back part) is too large for the space it is in, causing pressure and pain inside her head. We are working with the doctors to try to lessen the pain from the constant headaches. She takes Amitriptylene (Elavil). The medication does not take away the pain, but lessens it somewhat to more of a dull pain. It also helps her sleep better at night.

I am 69 years old and I suffered all day/all night headaches from age 15 to 40, only much later did I find that they were hormone related. Have a hormone panel done if you can.OB-GYNs are usually willing to order these.
I swallowed so many headache pills, I don't know why I didn't ruin my stomach. One day I saw a headache Dr.
say that "analgesic rebound" can aggravate the condition by training your body to expect a steady dose of the
pills you are taking-a sort of addiction, so that the lack of that substance creates a headache. Boy was that an
eye-opener, so I took a week's vacation and tapered off till I was off them. By the end of the week I had some relief and from then on I was very selective about when and how much I took and I am talking every otc headache pill available back in the 1970s and by the time I reached my 40s they started to taper off and by 45 they had disappeared for good along with my monthly visitor-a classic case of hormone-based headaches. I hope this will help someone find some help.
