im 31yrs old, and 5mos pregnant. my problem started when i was 4mos pregnant after having sex with my husband. i started to experience yellow green discharge and my vagina is so itchi. every morning and evening i wash it with feminine wash called betadine. but still its so itchi and i cant stand it especially that im at work. will this affect my baby and my pregnancy? how aboout if i gave birth to my baby and it still doesnt go away. will it still affects my baby? is their a way i can do to get rid of this problem? can i use canestine cream? is it safe for me since im still pregnant? i really need your help before i gave birth..i want to get rid of this already im worried cause this is our first baby. thanks in advance and more power..god bless..
Have you brought this up with your OB yet? You might have a yeast infection going on down there. I would talk to a doc about it. When i was preggie i got a few yeast infection, and the only symptom i would have is irritation/itching. Best luck to you and your baby!
It is very common for pregnant women to have vaginal infections. The pregnancy changes the pH down there and makes it easier for infection to take hold. You need to get it checked by a doctor as it could be thrush or bacterial vaginosis. Both are easily treated, but you need to get the right treatment for either infection.
