Hi. Every day I’m exposed to very loud noise. That lasts for a few years and now I think I have NIHL. I want to know how noise induced hearing loss is diagnosed. Do I need to go to the doctor to check my hearing level, or there is some other option?
People differ in their sensitivity to noise. As a general rule, noise may damage your hearing. Continuous exposure to loud noise also can damage of hair cells, resulting in hearing loss. Hearing loss usually develops over a period of several years. If you notice problems with hearing you need to go to doctors. Doctor can diagnose your hearing problem and recommend the best way to manage it.
