I’m suffering from severe plaque psoriasis for more than 10 years now, and finally my dermatologist started me on Stellara. I was hoping to see at least some reduction in my plaques, but nothing happened after the first shot, and as far as I can see there are no significant changes in most affected areas after the second shot, either. My dermatologist assures me that I’ll see the changes soon and I will get the third shot in the next 12 or so weeks, but so far all I had were side effects making me possibly even more negative towards Stellara. Before I started the treatment my derm assured me I’ll definitely see some positive effects after the second shot, but nothing is happening so far. If anyone is or was on Stellara, how soon did you see any benefit from it?

since you had psoriasis for this long, and also depending on how big area of your skin is covered with psoriatic changes, it can take two to three injections before you start seeing Stelara effects. It also sounds to me like you just recently received your second shot - it does take some time for it to get to full effect. I hope your side effects are not far too severe, because in case you notice any change that might mean that your immune system is far too weak, you'll need to talk to your doctor.
