Okay, so, I had a normal tonsillectomy recovery untill day 8. I went to school that day and I guess it was way to rough. My stiches fell off. I thought I was fine until that night. At 12:30am I started violently coughing up and throwing up blood. There was blood everywhere. I woke up my mom . We went to the e.r. I was in shock. I honestly felt like I was going to die. When I was in the e.r. I sat there for about two hours while they figure out what to do. I had two blood clots that were the size of golf balls. I spit one out. The bleeding was off and on for two hours. The doctors decided to have surgery. They told me that it may be due to a artry. That is all I know. The surgery was fine. I still don't know how long the recovery is and why I had to go into surgery. If anyone knows, please tell me. And if you have had simaliar things happen to you.
