Hello, I am 67 years old and I am suffering from diabetic glaucoma on the left eye. Doctor recommended me to take beta blockers with the appropriate miotycs. Blurred vision is now gone and I would like to know how many doses of beta blockers do I need to take now. I hope that I will end the therapy soon.
Glaucoma is the most important cause of blindness in older people. Major symptom is increased intra ocular pressure that leads to the damaging of retina and optical nerve. That is manifested with various eyesight problems. In order too keep that pressure, beta blockers are used. So, I think that you should continue with the therapy until the doctor tells you to stop.
