How can skin tags be removed? Can I do it myself or I have to see a doctor about it?

It is generally not recommended that you remove skin tags yourself. There is the increased risk of infection and excessive bleeding. In addition, other skin growths such as moles…can resemble skin tags and should only be removed by a doctor. Skin tags are generally harmless, however, if needed they can be snipped off with a scissors or removed with electrical current in your dermatologist's office.
