I have been diagnosed with primary hyperparathroidism (high CA in blood, normal parathyroid). Is there any holistic method to healing the parathyroid gland without surgery? Also, to do the surgery they first inject a radioactive isotope to try and ID which part of the parathyroid gland is diseased. How safe is this? Is there evidence of cancer resulting from being radioactive?
