Hello I hope someone can help answer this for me. I had a partial hysterctomy surgery July of 2007. One year later I am still having period once a month. The first couple of months I told my Dr he said this was normal. That my body is getting getting rid of the left over in my body. Well I haven't seen him since then. Let's just say Ever since July 2007 and it is now Aug 2008. I am still having period every month for 3 days. It's not normal as a normal period. It's mainly brown stuff but then turn to little light bleeding. Last week I was bleeding and it freak me out but then next day it turn brown. I go through this ever since my sugery. I am still like having a period. ANd when I go through this I also get little cramp we get when we go through our periods. Can someone pls tell me if this is normal. I am making appt anyway to my new Dr to get a pap smear but does anyone know if it normal to have periods still? I had evereything removed expect my cervix. I had fibroids is reason why I had to have a hysterectomy. THanks for taking time to read this and hope someone can give me some advice or answers it would help me calm down alot.
