I need to lose weight for some procedures I want to have.

Exercise I am okay with, but I am really weak when it comes to food. If I see an apple and then a bag of chips, I grab the bag of chips then a can of pop. Another big problem is if food is really good I will eat it even though I am not hungry.

I know that this means I pretty much lach self control and you probaly can't help, but this has been happening for months. Do I just need some motivation or something?

You are not alone! I think that most humans can relate with you. We change our behaviors when it is too painful to carry on doing the same thing...

The motivating factor might be to THINK about how you feel after you eat. Usually, a fruit will energize, and chips will sedate. How do you want to feel? Pause before you make your choice. Ask yourself, "How do I want to feel", and then intuit your food choice. This has helped me choose decaffeinated teas over coffee, fruits over sweets, although it's still difficult. You can do it!
