Hello, about a week ago I woke up and noticed my lip had a little redish sore on it, however it wasnt very sensitive to the touch (I do occasionally get sores on my gums and lips, usually after a night of parties and drinking and smoking). Anyhow while I was eating I bit my lip at that very area TWICE, it was very painful, and a week later its still sore and sensitive. Sometimes it wont be sensitive, but after a full day it the wound is sensitive and I notice it just walking around. Although the swellin is gone, I noticed a small white ring around the wounded area. Is this serious? what do you think the sore is doc? and is it connected to this prolong sensitive wound?
