I had a deviated surgery on both sides of my nose the doctor did it at the hospital as a out paticant. My face was so swollen I could not see. I could not stay awake but kept vomiting blood. Eight hours later I woke up at my parents home and could not breath. There was a large round bloody thing in my throat that constricted my breathing. A ambulance was in its way. We thought it was a blood clot . He was going to give me a trekotomy. I put my finger down my throats to push this thing aside so i could get air. I grabbed tweezers from the bathroom cabinet and punctured it. It deflated and just hung there. I went in the ambulance back to the hospital . There were three young doctors that didn't know what to do They could not get my doctor to come to the hospital he was drinking and so he told the doctors to rip the tape off my face and to pull the packing back through the nose until it no longer constricted my breathing. They said the doctor wanted me to go to his office in two weeks for my previous scheduled appointment. I got a bad cold and infection. I went to that appointment and the doctor said everything looked good. I still can't breath well and I now have a sleep apnea machine which is almost impossible to use.

I feel so bad for you going through this ordeal.  I cannot imagine why your doctor would wait so long to see you and the fact you have an infection, and to top it off, he thought everything looked good??  You cannot breathe well; do you still have much inflammation from the surgery?  What type of meds are you taking?  And why a sleep apnea machine?  This all doesn't make any sense to me.  Have you considered going to another doctor?  I don't believe this one has a clue in what he is doing.  I would highly encourage you to seek out a more professional physician that takes his/her patients' health and comfort seriously.
