i feel like i have tiny bugs crawling on my body, and head

About thirteen years ago while visiting my daughter in Seattle area I contracted Morgellons. There were several things that happened to me about that time. There was a bad epidemic of sand fleas and we just could not get them out of the house. I got bit numerous times and it was at that time I begin to feel things crawling on or in me and biting. I had a few lesions after the bites healed up but not that many. One day out of the blue I seamed to have contracted pneumonia as well and was rushed to the hospital. I remember a couple of Dr.'s in the E.R. Looking at my blood and then at me. I never found out what that was about. They gave me cortisone and sent me home. It seamed to me after that it was almost like I had had a stroke because it was difficult to put my words together well. My daughter also had pet birds at the time and vacated the cage when she gave them away. I have wondered through the years about weather or not they left behind their mites and that may have been the problem. None of the others in the house seam to have a problem until years later but they were much younger and had healthier immune systems then Grandma. I went back to Oregon and through the years had bad bouts with it but was moving around a lot so I guess unknowingly left them behind. I believed all that time that I had become allergic to mites. It was the only thing that might fit.
Early this year their was an article about Joni Mitchell being hospitalized because she had a strange disease. Right away I knew it was what I had, maybe the wording of the article but I open ed it up and began to read. Wow, exactly! They made fun of her saying like all the Dr. I had ever talked to about it that it was in her head. Well after that I begin to look it up on the Internet and imagine my surprise to find out that it was plaguing hundreds of thousands of human beings and animals across the planet. That people were suffering honorably because of the same problem I had. I no longer felt so alone, although it is truly a lonely disease. Lonely because no Dr.'s want to even suggest what it is, that might make their job a whole much harder if they did. Many believe it is an engineered disease designed to kill off the elderly and already week or sick. Some believe it is dropped on us from chemtrails. I believe this is all possible and anyone who would refer to the elderly as useless eaters are psychopaths and capable of anything!
Finally a couple of months ago I found something in my medicine cabinet that said quantifiable, extra thick. It professed to heal up jock itch, diaper rash, ring worms and fungous infection. It had been there for several years. Someone had given it to me along with some other cosmetics after I had a house fire. I remember thinking, why not, I felt so desperate because it was worse then ever and I had tried everything I could think of and it was costing me my food money. So I put it on my legs where there were so many lesions. The itching began to subside and when I washed it off my legs looked better so I put it on again. Ever time it got better but I was running out. I went to our small town drug store but they didn't carry it. They ask where I had gotten it and I told them. I went home and on to Ebay. I wrote in Anti fungle, extra thick and a picture of it came up. A pack of two for sixteen dollars. I ordered one and have ordered a couple sense. That healed up my legs but it didn't stop the activity in and on me. I kept up my search between miserable bouts of the creepy crawlies until I began to hear about Sodium bicarbonate (Baking soda) and all about your bodies PH. I didn't completely understand but went ahead and starting drinking it anyway. I tried to buy strips to test mu PH as well but they said it would cost 30.00 if they ordered me some. Ridiculous! I ordered them on line for 7.00 and free shipping!!
Well I must have done it right because all though I have a twinge now and again and still put the anti fungal on my feet and lower legs if I feel biting, they are pretty much gone. I also shower and use only baking soda to wash with. I put on coconut oil to moisturize my skin after my shower if need be.
Last week I had some serious problems, I started bleeding from the rectum, strange thing is thirteen years ago a few months after I got Morgellons I also did this. I also began to have serious sinus and vision problems. The bleeding has stopped but I am still having the sinus vision problems from time to time. I believe it is die off but am seeing a Dr. nevertheless and they are going to going to give me a colonoscopy next week. Thats what they did the last time and found nothing!

I'm 40 years old and this has been happening to me for a few months now. Mostly in my scalp and on my face but not limited to other parts of my body. It feels like little bugs are running back and forth from my face and my scalp or vice versa. I haven't been to see a doc yet but I will soon because this is very annoying!

I've done some reading on low magnesium levels. I think this is worth checking into. Thanks to those who posted.

I have just read all you messages... I suffer with this and what you have I just the beginning. Once the fully cycle starts you'll be able to tell where it is starting from and feel it come up your body to head and back down again. Ok all your symptoms are correct. You shall start to feel as if a worm is crawling around your anus, legs whole body, but this one wiggly thing which is big will only pop out around the auns and thousands of mini invisable babies shall swamp your body. You'll start to feel this wiggle from your anus to throat making you physically sick, lose weight, headaches, bath/shower 3/4/5 times a day, OILY FACE as this is where they are crawling on there, amonia smell at night from your body, dizzy, can't function propley, easily stressed, always wanting to sit down, can't put weight on or off but eating loads and loads, then not eating for a whole day. Randomly being sick/ feeling sick and unwell. This is where in at now!!! The only way to to get help is, go for a camera down your throat, up your anus. This needs to be done on a empty stomach for 8-10 hours. parasite clinic ASAP, smeare test, blood test , anus sample/swap scrap. I feel like killing myself I done know how I got this I can't solicise no more or work. I'm house bound I can't afford private care for these special things I need to do. So now the only route is to allow people to think and say I'm crazy along with all the hospitals I've gone and seen and GPS. Help I don't want to kill myself

One cause on this is the recreational drug... Meth. Stop taking meth and those bugs will go away.

I am having the same problem. It happens randomly, occurs all over my body but particularly on my face, and occurs more frequently when I lay down. I have been a resident at a VA hospital since July 31st so I'm in a pretty clean environment.

You might have dust mites. My husband is going through the same thing. At first we hired an exterminator thinking that it was bed bugs or bird mites. Nothing was found. Then we thought it was mold exposure and he had the spores crawling on him but we now think it's dust mites. The only way to kill them is burning or freezing them. After you vacuum, put the vacuum outside. My husband also started drinking fermented cabbage juice which is disgusting but works as a sort of repellent. A temporary fix for a good night sleep is to rub coconut oil and powdered sulfur on your body. Wash your clothes with borax. Does the crawling also occur when you are out of your home?

Get your B12 vitamin levels checked. I used to have the same feeling all over my body, and later on I learned that they were due to vitamin B12 deficiency.

I realize lots of these post are old but just in case someone new visits here's what I've done about the crawly bug feeling. It was extremely bad on my scalp. I was tested for scabies, they didn't find anything so they treated me for it anyways. I had small bumps between my fingers to begin, then itchy spots that looked like huge mosquito bites on my arms, hands then started on my face. Then the creepy crawly sensation started. I did some reading found out mites hate menthol and spearmint smells. I bought 2 bags of menthol Epsom salt and 2 bottles of menthol alcohol. I ran bath water with about 2 cups if each in it and laid head and all in for 20 minutes. You will be surprised at the parasites that come from your body! Gross...all different kinds, shapes, some clear, some black dots. Was unbelievable. After my bath I showered, washed my hair. When I ran the brush and comb thru my hair then decided I should have wash them first, I put them in sink menthol alcohol and about a 100 little black specks(parasites) were in the sink. That was those head crawlers. I wish I had scooped up several of each different ones and had them tested but I was so damn happy and disgusted at same time to get those things out or off of me!! I them applied to all the bites the menthol alcohol, an itch cream the doctor had given me, followed by preparation H for the swelling, and coconut oil so the bites wouldn't look crusty. I did this twice a day for first two days, once yesterday and only saw a couple of parasites, once today and saw NO parasites! The bites marks are healing quickly. Anything was worth a try. Don't let anyone tell you this sh*t is in your head. It's not psychological like many drs like to claim as a quick diagnosis. Hope it helps for anyone else.

They are not from the computer.
The computer gets contaminated from the person's hands and finger nails ( from scratching) same with the computer chair. Eventually all the furniture. U probably do have either bird or rat mites. My house got them when our neighbours cut down a 200 year old oak tree. It was huge. They left it sitting for a month. Then took their time cutting it up. About 3 months after they cut down the tree, it rained and BOOM that is when the house got infested. I wasn't living in it when this started, but my best friend was renting it from me. She has gone through hell. She has tried everything they list on other bird mite sites.
Once they went away for about a month then they started up again. She got terribly sick. First she was told by a dr. She had scabies. But no skin scraping was ever done.
At one point she even had 100s of little white worms coming out of her finger nails.
She found that the back room was infested with mice. And mice / rat mites.
She has ripped up all the carpet thrown away the bed most of the furniture.
At this point it seems to be coming and going. I can only pray she can get rid of them.
I want her healthy and happy.
I don't think I can knowingly sell my house. It's paid for and the only thing of value I own. I've read stories of people getting these mites after moving into an apartment or
Home. People that get these mites, finally out of desperation, throw away all their things ........ and go to hotel rooms. Then to another hotel room and so on infesting the hotels. I have read many stories of people getting them after staying in a hotel.

They give u cream for it, then if it doesn't work they tell the patient they are delusional.

Don't give up. Go to EARTH CLINIC. Type in bird mites. Read about what have found works best there. Also TOPIX. Also look for little things that look like little lint balls.
These seem to be involved too. Biting lint or flying lint. Sounds crazy. I know.
It's not read it. It's it's all tied in.

Try a different soap with moisturizers or a realy good lotion to see if that works. Soap might be drying out your skin.

It sounds like you have Morgellons disease. It is highly controversial, but I am a full believer because I believe I have it as well. Try simply Googling it. You can get a lot of answers from friendly sites where others are going through the same struggles as you. Hope you find your answers.
