I Was Pregnant With My First Child.... And Along I Wanna Say In My 2 Trimester.... My Doctor's Found A Cyst On My Uterus.... And My Placenta Was "Covering Where My Daughter Had To Come Through " So To Speak. I Was 16 If Not 17 When I Had This Surgery Done. Granted This Was My FIRST SURGERY EVER So You Can Imagine The Fear I Had. So My Doctor's Walked Me Through The Procedure Of Removing It While I Was Still Pregnant... Completely Safe And Said That It Wasn't A Long Process. To Me It Felt Like 10 To 15 Mins... When Really It Took 3 Hours... My Doctor Also Added That Had I Not Gotten Pregnant,  The Cyst Would Still Be Unknown Moreso Untreated... Which Would Cause Me To Have Severe.... Pains And If I Would Have Went Normally About My Life It Would Have Grew And Spread Causing It To Be Fatal. The Process Was Called Exploratory Surgery.... They Put Me To Sleep... Went In Around My Daughter Caught The Cyst But I Lost An Ovary In The Process. Which Would Make Conceiving In The Future Complicated If I Decided To Have Another Child.... The Surgery Was A Success... The Cyst Was The Size Of A Softball And It Had Hair.... I Was Shocked I Just Started Crying And Thanking God That They Removed It.... And I Was Also Able To Deliver My Daughter Healthy 6pds 11Oz Baby With No Problems. I Hope This Helps Anyone With Future situations As Mine....
