Hi lynn
I have had cysts removed on my sinuses which helped relieve the pressure in my head and the headaches.. what I was hoping at that time was that the surgery would help my "vertigo" symptoms. I didn't feel immediate relief, but over time I was able to function better and not feel so "floaty".
I am going to an ENT today regarding another cyst that was found in an MRI I had done recently for the return of the vertigo symptoms. It seems to me that I am going through the same thing I did last time. Maybe there is a connection between the two?
Just a heads up, the surgery went well back then, but I stayed out of work a few days due to the discomfort from the surgery. Maybe they have better methods that don't leave the patient so uncomfortable afterward. I'm not trying to scare you off, but I wish that someone would have told me how I would feel later. But all in all it healed well and did it's job.
