I am sitting here reading you all stories with tears of joy and hope in my eyes. I had my 1st tube removed in 2006 due damsge and i also had a fibriod timor removed. Well on August 27, 2008 after feeling tired all the time and my cycle being off schedule i took 2 home pregnancy test. They both came back positive...i was sooo excited and my husband was also this would have been our 1st child. We have been married 10 yeaars and together for 13 years. Anyway on Aug 28 i did a bllod test and it came back i was almost 3 months pregnant...Aug 29 we had an ultra-sound done and discovered the pregnancy wasa ectopic. :-( That just tore us both up... :'( :'( :'( :'( IVF is our only option but the cost is very expensive. Our insurance wont pay for any of it. But i you have restored my hope and build my faith even more that mircles do happen we just have to pray, believe, have faith and trust GOD because he has ALL POWER!!!!! So pray for me to recieve a mircle as i will be doing the same for you.

Be Blessed

The short answer is no.

Eggs travel down the falopian tubes from the overies to the womb; no tubes, no eggs meeting sperm, no pregnancy.

I really don't want to burst the faith bubble in here, but I will just say that your one hand calling your doctor on this will get you pregnant a lot faster than two hands praying. Eggs can't travel from an ovary to a womb down a fallopian tube which isn't there anymore.

Savannah, GA,
So you're saying that you are now 3wks pregnant naturally after revmoving both your tubes? What a miracle! How does your docror explain the possibility of that happening? Is it possible that he just tied your tubes instead of removing them completele? Please keep us posted on the progress of your pregnancy.

In reply to Alsih003 "Eggs can't travel from an ovary to a womb down a fallopian tube which isn't there anymore." That's true BUT you can never underestimate the bodies ability to heal itself and create another path. Life always finds its way. As you can see in this forum it HAS happened several times. It's very similar to those who become pregnant after a tubal ligation, and there are quite a few.
Those of us here know very well that it would probably be faster to get pg "calling the doctor" which would recommend IVF. But we either have gone down that path before and are financially and emotionally exhausted with no success or don't want to since it's very taxing. Not that your comment was offensive but just to clear the air.

My doctor says that there is always a .01% chance even with tubes. I am possitive that he took them out. I have a picture that shows then before and then a picture showing no tubes after. Plus he showed them to my husband in a jar. (Gross, I know!) I am going to the doctor on Wed. to have an Ultra Sound to see if the embryo (I call it a baby!) is where it is supposed to be and to make sure it is alive.

To everyone that is praying for a miracle to happen to you:
Please do not let negative people get you down. You keep praying and it will happen. I believe that God answers all prayers and he will answer yours too!

To Alsih003: How do you explain Jesus being born to a Virgin Mother? If that was possible anything is. This is not my first miracle! I was 17 years old when I had my first daughter. I had a lot of complications, (hospitalized 8 different times) like sack separation, toxemia, etc. I had a 1 cist on my ovary and 1 on my uteris. 1 week before I had my daughter the cist on my ovary burst and then when I had my daughter (6 weeks early) the cist on my uteris burst. I went home 4 days later with 12 stitches. 4 weeks later I was beginning to throw up and my bleeding was not like I was told to expect it so I went back to the doctor thinking that there was an infection some where. I was again 3 weeks pregnant. There was NO sexual contact with anyone. One of the cist contained an egg and live sperm according to the test that were done at the hospital. My 2 oldest girls are almost identicle the oldest was born Jan 15, 2000 and the 2nd one born Nov. 15, 2000 and the time of birth on both deliveries was 12:01am. Now tell me that this is not possible.

IT IS ALMOST CHRISTMAS!!!! The time when CHRIST was born to Virgin Mary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ladies, keep praying!!!!!

Savannah, Ga.,
Congratulations on your miracle pregnancies! Are you going back to the same doctor that did your surgery? I'd like to know what he'll say about this pgcy after removing your tubes. Let me know how the ultrasound goes. Best of wishes

Well, not that this is the right place to debate theology, but mostly I explain that by pointing out that the "virgin birth" stories didn't appear until around 50 years after Jesus' death. What's more likely: That a scared young girl called Mary told a lie because she knew that she'd be stoned to death if she didn't, or that nature reversed itself? Sorry, but I know which I believe, and I do not believe in virgin birth in human beings!

This isn't really the place to debate theology, but I explain it by knowing that the "virgin birth" stories didn't first appear until around 50 years after Jesus' death, and so knowing that the likelihood of them being true is precisely zero. As for bing impregnated by God... If a girl in your neighborhood claimed to be carrying God's child, would you find it more likely that she was lying or that God really did impregnate her? The story isn't any less ridiculous for being 2000 years old, I'm afraid!

Just to let you know that I am praying for you and will continue to pray, because it sounds to me that you are lost, because anyone who had God in there HEART would not post anything negitive about him. I hope you find God, before the devil really finds you. My heart goes out to you. Everyone please remember her in your prayers, because she is going to need them.
My eggs may not travel to my uterus, but my overies are floating, and an egg can fall in. MY FAITH WITH GOD ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

I wish you all the luck in the world, but I take offence at your sanctimonious attitude towards your own particular brand of creation myth. I don't want your prayers or anybody else's; that's kind of the point of being an atheist - being comfortable in the knowledge that there is no God.

Well I am sorry if I offended you in your beliefs. I, like most (if not all) of the rest of us are Christians and do believe in GOD. Maybe if you had an eye opening near death experience you would too, believe in God. But, anyway your beliefs are not going to change the fact that I AM pregnant without tubes. I can not explain it but I feel it is a miracle. But I do have one question if you are truly ATHEIS. How do you people think that we got here in the beginning? Were we hatched from eggs that later became apes that later became human? I don't think so. It was GOD, honey. I will pray for you even if you don't want me to.
